I continue to research and practise various genres of photography, mainly using digital SLR cameras, 35 mm film, Medium Format and have even had a chance to practise on Large Format Cameras, from taking the picture through to editing and processing.

For relaxation, I particularly like working with a second hand medium format Bronica ETRsi Film Camera, because when I shoot with film everything slows down and there is so much care and consideration to each shot.

The most exciting thing I found about photography was producing a print the first time in the dark room, a moment of delight waiting for my very own black & white image to develop, coming to life in front of my eyes.

Digital Photography has many instantaneous merits and learning Photoshop is an art in itself that I am not shy of, it is incredible, but I still find it is important as a photographer to get the image right in Camera.

Artist

I have taken photographs since the age of nine, being the only one in our family to ask for a camera.

I was born and brought up in London and now live in the Home Counties.

When I started it was all about capturing the moment and now I find that photography also allows a deeper connection with my surroundings, showing things that may otherwise go unnoticed and giving a greater understanding to changes in the world.

I love taking pictures so much that I have gained a professional qualifications BA (Hons) 2009 Photography & Digital Imaging.
